TWO Warrington Athletics Club juniors claimed bronze medals at the Coiners Fell Race.
Rachel Jefferson produced an excellent third place in the under 18s girls’ section, finishing 33 seconds behind international Hannah Bateson after almost 25 minutes of difficult running.
Kate Titlow finished in eighth place in the same age-group.
Liam Burthem was also a medallist as he finished third in the under 12s boys’ event, a day after competing for the club in the National Young Athletes League.
In the under 18s boys’ race, James Ellis ran well to finish in sixth place, only 37 seconds down on the winner Joe Gratton, also an international fell runner.
