WOLVES could have injured duo Adrian Morley and Lee Briers back for Saturday's trip to Hull FC.

Both players have missed the last two games, Morley with a broken bone in his hand and Briers with a hamstring problem.

But head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith is hopeful he will have his captain and key playmaker back for their Super League match at the KC Stadium, along with Paul Rauhihi and Vinnie Anderson.

Rauhihi was a late injury withdrawal ahead of Sunday's 56-8 Challenge Cup win at Featherstone, while Anderson also missed out after his wife gave birth late on Saturday.

Smith said: "Lee and Adrian are doing well. Hopefully they won't be far off and they might be available for Hull.

"It will be nice to have the headache of how to get them into the team with Vinnie and Paul.

"I think I'll have a few more grey hairs and a few more headaches by the end of the week. But it's a nice problem to have."

Matt King also appeared to pick up an injury during the Challenge Cup triumph, sitting out the entire second half with an ice pack on his calf.

But Smith said that was a precautionary measure, a luxury available to the Wolves boss due to their relative ease of victory at The Chris Moyles Stadium.

"We got a couple of bumps and bruises but fortunately, we had a situation where we could look after a few people and we were able to make a few adjustments along the way," he said.
