MOORE United and Eagle Sports go head-to-head on Saturday to decide who wins promotion to Cheshire Soccer League Division One.
Battle will commence at Tetley Walker Club, Long Lane, at 3pm.
While Eagle won 4-1 at Crewe at the weekend, United edged closer to promotion in their first season in the Cheshire League thanks to a 2-0 success over Division Two cup winners Daten.
United started brightly, hitting the bar twice through Lee Willott and Kris Taylor, with Scott Taylor also coming close.
Daten had chances, too, with keeper Simon Perry making a couple of crucial stops.
Moore took the lead on the half hour when Lee Burton’s through ball was collected by Scott Taylor, who rounded the goalkeeper to side-foot the ball home.
Moore tried to close the game off early but met stiff resistance until centre half Kris Taylor crashed a decisive shot into the roof of the net.
