CARDINAL Newman year seven boys rugby union team flew the flag for Warrington in a national competition for developing sides over the weekend.
After reaching the last eight of the HSBC Rugby Festival, they played in finals fixtures at Staines Rugby Club but went out of the Year Seven Trophy before the final, which was staged at Twickenham.
The team met up with competition ambassador, Jason Robinson, the former England rugby union and Great Britain rugby league international, over the weekend.
