WARRINGTON Wolves’ under 18s side are two points clear at the top of the Gillette Academy Championship ahead of Saturday’s ‘derby’ clash with Widnes Vikings.
The young cubs replicated the success of the first team, beating Huddersfield 40-18 on Saturday to record their fourth win in four games.
Prop Josh Crowley touched down twice, while Pat O’Neill and Jordan Burke scored one apiece Welsh international twins Ben and Rhys Evans also grabbed a try each, as did recently capped England under 16s internationals Ryan Shaw and Vinny Kakopa. Greg Hamilton kicked four goals.
