BROOK FC have won Warrington Sunday Soccer League’s Red Lion Cup.
They defeated Grappenhall Sports 3-1 in Sunday’s final, with goals coming from Rob Greave, Lee Kinsey and Ryan Crawford.
Crossbar defeated Hale 4-2 in the Premier Division thanks to double strikes from both Alan McGuire and Shaun Bennett.
Neil Wright and Richard Hill were on the score sheet but Pierpoints lost 3-2 to Turf and Feather.
In Division One, P and S Eagle and La Gente drew 1-1. Tom Fance hit the mark for Eagle.
Despite a Neil Linsey goal for Sandymoor his team lost to Jolly Tanner 2-1. Tanner scored through Mattie Mairs and Dave Holden.
Michael Babbington scored all his side’s four goals as Bank Quay beat OCS 4-3 in Division Three.
Blackburne Arms had Danny Hoyland, Ian Baines and Lee McKenna to thank in their 4-2 win over Howley FC. Neil Jackson and Scott Robinson were the Howley scorers.
