Lymm u17 19 Worcester u17 0
LYMM under 17s pulled off a massive win against Worcester in the semi finals of the National Under 17s Cup.
The Cheshire boys played with passion, skill and greater discipline to defeat the Guinness Premiership club’s under 17s colts.
The illustrious opposition conceded 17 penalties as they struggled with the domination of the Lymm scrum and the flair and pace of the backs.
Two tries from impressive winger Pat Taylor followed the opening score from Elliot Heward. Luke Emmitt was successful with two conversions.
Lymm will travel to Worcester’s Sixways stadium on May 3 to play Exeter Chiefs for the title of the best under 17s team in England.
Manager Noel Wright said: “Sunday’s win is truly a reflection of the dedication and effort put in by the players over the last 10 years and of the talent being nurtured at Lymm.”
