RYLANDS Sharks will meet Bank Quay Bulls or Crosfields A in the Warrington Carlsberg Cup Final at Crosfields’ Hood Lane ground on May 16 at 3.30pm.
The date of the Bank Quay versus Crosfields A semi final is yet to be confirmed but Sharks booked their place with a 28-12 success against Latchford Albion on Thursday.
A young Albion side took Sharks by surprise with two tries from centre Fowler, with Owen adding the conversions.
Rylands hit back with a try from forward Hewitt from a short pass from half back Walsh, who also converted.
Sharks equalised in the second half when full back Lloyd pounced on a chip kick from Walsh.
Soon after, livewire hooker Danny Forster set up Robinson’s converted try.
Sharks pulled further ahead with a converted try from Stevens off another great ball from Forster.
The final try from Hewitt resulted from swift passes from Gregory and Forster.
Man of the match awards went to Sharks’ Danny Forster and Albion’s Ste Worrall.
* Rylands Sharks’ second team are also through to the Warrington Carlsberg Alliance Cup Final where they will face Crosfields A at Hood Lane on May 16 at 1.30pm.
