PAUL Johnson needs two tries for a career century of club and representative touchdowns.

The Wolves utility player has scored 56 for Wigan Warriors, 19 for Bradford Bulls and 15 for Warrington, plus eight in representative matches including five for Great Britain.

His 98 tries include two hat-tricks, one for Bradford and another for Great Britain.

A former Hindley amateur, Johnson made his senior professional debut for Wigan as a substitute in a 44-20 home defeat of Workington Town in a Stones Bitter Centenary Championship match on November 19, 1995.

He made one more substitute appearance before making his first start, on the wing, and scoring his first try in a 20-18 Super League home defeat of Halifax Blue Sox on March 16, 1997.

After nine seasons at Wigan, Johnson moved to Bradford and made his debut for the Bulls, at centre, in the 22-4 World Club Challenge defeat of Penrith Panthers at the then McAlpine Stadium, Huddersfield.

He later moved to Warrington and made his debut for the Wolves, at centre, in a 16-10 Super League win at Wigan on February 9, 2007.

Johnson has been in great form for Warrington of late, either at centre or on the wing, and scored his latest try in the 58-22 win at Bradford last Friday.
