WARRINGTON Athletics Club staged their first open track and field meeting of the season at Victoria Park on Sunday.
Top performance came in the under 11s girls, where Kelly Chadwick equalled the club record in the 75m, broke the 150m record and won the long jump.
In the under 13s girls’ 800m Lizzie Smith set a new personal best, while Samantha Wilkinson broke her personal best in the under 17s women’s javelin.
In the men’s events, Alex Wort had personal bests in the under 17s javelin, 100m hurdles and 400m, while Wojciech Czaja won the senior long jump and came third in the triple jump, with junior Scott McEwan finishing second.
