KEVIN Penny returns to the side for the first time since opening day for Warrington’s clash with Castleford at The Halliwell Jones Stadium today.

The 21-year-old winger was dropped following the round one defeat at St Helens and has been playing in the reserves since.

Penny starts despite being omitted from the original 19-man squad, coming in as a late replacement for Vinnie Anderson, who is injured.

With the Kiwi absent, Simon Grix and Matt King team up in the centres and Penny is on the left wing.

But Wolves are still without Lee Briers, who missed Friday’s 18-16 defeat at Salford with a thigh strain.

In his absence, Michael Monaghan and Chris Bridge continue in the halves.
