CROSFIELDS/RYLANDS kept the pressure on the Cheshire League Division One leaders with a fine win at Tameside Stadium.
The Warrington-based side took a deserved lead when the excellent Stuart Bruce opened the scoring after 25 minutes with a fine 25-yard shot.
The second goal came in the 65th minute when Stuart Wellstead finished with an angled drive.
Crosfields travel to Trafford on Saturday, kick off 3pm, and then face title favourites Woodley at Northwich Victoria’s ground on Wednesday, kick off 7.30pm.
