‘Bring anyone on’ in the Carnegie Challenge Cup fifth round, says Warrington Wolves back rower Ben Westwood.
“I’m not bothered who we play next,” he said after returning from a five-match suspension to help Wolves defeat York City Knights 56-10 in the fourth round on Saturday.
“It would be nice if we got paired with another National League team but if we want to win the competition we’ve got to beat the best so bring anyone on.”
Wolves are one of nine remaining Super League clubs going into the hat for the draw, which takes place at 2.30pm this afternoon and will be published here as soon as possible afterwards. The draw will not be broadcast live.
Remaining teams: Batley Bulldogs, Castleford Tigers, Catalans Dragons, Featherstone Rovers, Gateshead Thunder, Halifax, Huddersfield Giants, Hull KR, Oldham, Rochdale Hornets, Sheffield Eagles, St Helens, Salford City Reds, Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, Warrington Wolves, Wigan Warriors.
