WARRINGTON Wolves’ academy team kicked off their season with an impressive victory at St Helens.
Full back Matt Lomax, a product of Latchford Albion and St Gregorys High School, crossed for two tries.
Other tries for Gary Chambers’ team came from Pat O’Neill, Rhys Evans, Joe Clarke, Josh Crowley and Gareth O’Brien, who added six conversions.
Warrington will begin their home campaign against Bradford Bulls at Wilderspool on April 18 at 2.30pm.
