WOLVES boss Tony Smith is yet to settle on the best position for Chris Bridge.
He started at stand off for the first time this year against York City Knights, while he has also had spells at centre and hooker this year.
Since joining Wolves from Bradford four years ago, he has played in each of the back positions for Warrington and looked set for a run at full back last year until rupturing his Achilles in the second round of Super League.
Smith said: “I’m still looking at Bridgey.
“He did some good things against York, showing some of the class he’s got.
“I’m undecided about that. He’s got a bit of competition in the halves and a few options in the centres, too, if I’m honest with him.
“He’ll need to keep working hard to find a position for himself, whichever one it is.
“I’m not sure about full back.
“He needs to catch a few of those balls from kick offs a bit earlier than he does and prove a few things there.
“Who knows? He might turn up there next week, we might have another surprise.”
