MARK Forster’s first and last Rugby League World Cup appearances were 13 years apart.
The Warrington Wolves winger’s first game came during the 1985 to 1988 competition, representing Great Britain in a victory against France at Headingley in Leeds in 1987.
His three other World Cup dates were in the 2000 event with Ireland at the age of 35, culminating in a quarter-final defeat to England at Headingley.
Forster’s only World Cup try was scored in a 30-16 victory against New Zealand Maori at Tolka Park in Dublin, after opening the 2000 campaign in the Irish side that defeated Samoa 30-16 at Windsor Park in Belfast.

Foz remains fourth in Warrington’s all-time try scoring chart after racking up 191 touch downs in 442 appearances.
He joined the club from amateurs Woolston Rovers in 1981 and completed 20 seasons before finishing his professional career with Widnes.
