ALTHOUGH he gained 26 Great Britain caps, Andy Gregory achieved just one World Cup appearance in his 60-match spell with Warrington.
Pocket battleship Gregory stepped up to face Australia at his home-town Wigan ground on November 22, 1986.
He only played two more games for Warrington after that, before joining Wigan and reaching greater heights.

Gregory joined Warrington from Widnes in a £75,000 deal that took John Fieldhouse the other way.
He left Warrington for a then world record fee of £130,000.
