WARRINGTON Wolves are being tipped to be among the sides challenging for honours once again in 2025.
Super League’s title sponsors Betfred have The Wire as third-favourites to lift their first ever Super League crown and their first league title since 1955 – they are currently rated as a 5-1 shot ahead of this year’s beaten finalists Hull KR (11-2)
Defending champions Wigan Warriors are strong favourites for a third consecutive title at 6-4 while St Helens, whom Warrington beat in the play-off eliminator round in 2024, are 9-2 second favourites.
Similarly, Sam Burgess’ side are third-favourites at 4-1 to finish top of the regular-season table and win the League Leaders’ Shield behind Wigan (6-4) and Saints (7-2) while they are also just behind their neighbours in betting to win the Challenge Cup at 5-1. Wigan are 5-2 favourites, with Saints at 9-2.
Betfred are offering a special “price boost” on a “Warrington special” – punters can back The Wire to win any of the Grand Final, League Leaders’ Shield or the Challenge Cup at odds of 6-4.
A Grand-Final/Challenge Cup double for Wolves is available at 25-1 while if you fancy them to win an unprecedented treble, that is available at 80-1.
