LUKE Littler remains firmly on course for another major ranking title.
Having won the Grand Slam of Darts last weekend, the Warringtonian 17-year-old will play in the Players Championship semi-finals tonight following another clinical display.
For the second weekend in a row, Belgium’s World Grand Prix champion Mike De Decker fell victim to Littler but while it took a staggering fightback from the teenager on that occasion, this was much more straightforward.
De Decker had no answer to Littler, who ran out a 10-3 victor to book a last-four berth against either Scott Williams or Ross Smith.
He did so by recording a match average of a shade under 104 with four 180s and a 59 per cent checkout success rate.
Littler, who averaged 112.73 in whitewashing former world champion Rob Cross on Friday, continued the form which took him to the Grand Slam title last Sunday.
The 17-year-old missed a double 12 for a nine-darter as he beat Ritchie Edhouse 6-2 with both players averaging 105.
Littler then swept aside former UK Open champion Danny Noppert 10-3, averaging 104 and crashing in seven 180s to extend his winning run to 10 matches.
