WARRINGTON Wolves' five England representatives have been hard at work this week preparing for the first Test against Samoa.

National team captain George Williams is surely a shoo-in for selection but Matty Ashton, Ben Currie, Danny Walker and the departing John Bateman have all been vying to earn a place in Shaun Wane's side for Sunday's game at Wigan's Brick Community Stadium.

Wane will name a 19-man matchday squad this afternoon for the first of two Test matches, with the second at Headingley on Saturday, November 2.
