JUST over a thousand Warrington Wolves supporters will be lucky enough to watch tonight’s Super League semi-final against Hull KR live from Craven Park.

For those not lucky enough to get themselves a ticket, however, the town’s pubs are likely to be busy with fans piling in to see if Sam Burgess’ side can reach Old Trafford for the first time since 2018.

Of course, thousands will be watching from the comfort of their own home but for those who fancy watching along with fellow Wire fans, here’s five suggestions of pubs that will be showing the action…

THE KING’S HEAD (Winwick Street)

A stone’s throw away from The Halliwell Jones Stadium, the King’s Head is a favourite pre and post-match haunt for Wire supporters on game days.

A vibrant atmosphere is likely, with the pub showing the game live on several screens including a new giant screen in the beer garden.

TAVERN SPORTS BAR (Church Street)

Another fan favourite, the Tavern Sports Bar is another good option for somewhere to watch the action with a bit of atmosphere.

Indeed, the certified “Barmy Army pub” is asking people to bring their singing voices, with the game being shown in all of its TV screens.

Slap bang in the middle of town, Cromwell’s would be another good spot to catch tonight’s game.

With 12 TV screens and four projector screens, it is a favourite of those wanting to catch some live sport.

GRAVITY SOCIAL (Time Square)

The Time Square bar is a fine place to watch live sport, with a giant screen at one end of the venue and smaller ones dotted around so everyone has a good view of the action.

And with interactive darts, pool tables and other activities on offer, there’s plenty to keep yourself busy while watching the game too, with live music on after full time.

THE HAWTHORNE (Orford Lane)

If you fancy somewhere slightly outside the town centre, The Hawthorne is a good bet.

Plenty head there for pre-match drinks before home games, while their offering of screens make it a good spot to catch the action.
