MORE details for the upcoming Super League play-off campaign – which will feature Warrington Wolves – have been confirmed.

They include the dates, kick-off times and TV coverage for the eliminators and semi-finals leading up to the Grand Final at Old Trafford on Saturday, October 12.

With two rounds of the regular season to go, final finishing positions are still up in the air but The Wire have a little more certainty than others.

They know they will finish no lower than third in the final table and could still snatch second place. There is still a mathematical chance of them winning the League Leaders’ Shield, although those chances are somewhat remote.

Should they finish third, their eliminator tie will be played at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday, September 28, kick off 5.30pm live on both Sky Sports and BBC Two against the side finishing in sixth place.

That could still be any one of five teams – Salford Red Devils, Leigh Leopards, St Helens, Leeds Rhinos or Catalans Dragons. Saints are currently occupying sixth spot.

If they win that tie, they will be the highest-ranked of the eliminator winners and would therefore travel to face the side finishing in second place – which is currently Hull KR – on Friday, October 4, kick off 8pm live on Sky Sports.

However, if they manage to squeeze into second spot, they will skip the eliminator round and the October 4 semi-final would be played at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
