LUKE Littler’s route towards another title has been confirmed as he gears up for the World Series of Darts Finals.
The Warringtonian teenager heads to Amsterdam as the number one seed for the tournament having won two World Series titles this year in Bahrain and Poland.
Now, his bid to add another title to what has already been a stunning breakout year begins with a first-round clash with Ross Smith on Friday, September 13.
Littler’s clash with Smith is scheduled to be the fifth of eight first-round ties to be played on the Friday evening in the Dutch capital, with play to begin at 6pm UK time (7pm local time).
The winner will face either Johan Engstrom or Raymond van Barneveld in the last 16 on Saturday evening as the second of eight ties – the action again starts at 6pm UK time – with quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final all to be played on Sunday evening.
A total prize pot of £350,000 is at stake, with £80,000 going to the winner.
Viewers in the UK will be able to watch all of the action live on ITV4.
