WARRINGTON Wolves opened up their final training session before tomorrow's top-of-the-table Super League clash against Hull KR and the fans loved getting in on the action.
Around 1,500 attended the team run, the squad's last chance to practice game tactics and moves are finely tuning them 24 hours before a match.
With the sun shining, music blasting and fans donned in their favourite primrose and blue colours, The Halliwell Jones Stadium was the backdrop to a summertime Wire carnival.
It helps that Sam Burgess' boys are flying at the top of the table at the moment, thanks to their recent monster wins away to arch-rivals St Helens and Wigan.
So the atmosphere was buoyant and expectant for the visit of second-placed Hull KR on Friday night in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
It was also a chance for the supporters to get their first look and meet England international John Bateman as a Wire signing.
Bateman, who arrived from Australian club West Tigers at the weekend and is expected to make his debut against the Robins, stayed around after the session along with all of his new teammates to sign autographs and have pictures with fans who wanted them.
A special appearance was also made by three-times Challenge Cup winning Wire captain Adrian Morley.
