DEMAND for tickets among Warrington Wolves supporters for next year's historic clash with Wigan Warriors in Las Vegas has been extraordinary.

Indeed, it has now been confirmed that another extra area has been opened for Wire fans after their allocated bay sold out almost instantly.

The old rivals will break new ground by playing the first ever Super League fixture on American soil on March 1 next year when they meet at the city’s Allegiant Stadium as part of a four-game festival of rugby league.

The event will be headlined by two NRL matches – Canberra Raiders vs New Zealand Warriors and Penrith Panthers vs Cronulla Sharks – while an international women’s Test match between England and Australia will also be held on the same stage.

Warrington Wolves supporters had been allocated block 123 of Allegiant Stadium but that area has now sold out, so bay 225 was set aside as a designated Wire section last week, tickets for which will cost a total of £80 including all fees and taxes.

Now, it has been confirmed that block 224 will now also be a Warrington fan section as extraordinary demand for tickets continues.

Prices for the stadium as a whole range from the Bronze category at £50 all the way up to Elite Experience tickets – which includes premium seating and exclusive food and beverage outlets – at £257.

All tickets at whatever price guarantee access to the stadium for all four matches on the bill that day, with Wigan vs Warrington kicking off the action at 1.30pm local time (9.30pm UK time).

The Wire are requesting that their fans only purchase tickets through links accessed through their website – a specific page has been launched and can be visited at warringtonwolves.com/vegas – so the club can benefit financially at no extra cost to fans.

The club have also partnered with Catalans Sports Tours to offer tailored travel packages for the Vegas trip.

From £2,290 per person, fans can book onto a five-night tour including flights, accommodation transfers, a match ticket in the Wire section, access to exclusive fan events and experiences and a full-day Grand Canyon tour.

A seven-night option – featuring all of the above plus a two-night stay in New York City before heading to Vegas – is also being offered from £2,580 per person.
