A GLUT of personal bests and wins were achieved by Warrington Athletics Club competitors in the third round of the Youth Development League at Macclesfield on Saturday.
Among the stack of victories athletes also achieved 15 best performances of their lives in the dry conditions.
In the under 13s girls, Leah Poole had a triple win in the A 75m (10.6secs),150m (2.0secs) and long jump (4.19m).
Personal best performances came from Grace Rashud, third in the 800m (2mins 44.6secs); Charlotte Andrew, second in the B 1200m (4mins 50.1secs); Lois Johnson Starrs, fourth in the B Long Jump; Sophie Sharples, fifth in the high jump (1.10m equal PB) and Nora Szekely, fourth A javelin (12.05m) and fifth non-scoring 75m (12.2secs).
Other performances were Sophie Sharples, sixth B 75m (12.4secs); Jess Downes, second in the B 150m (22.5secs) and third in the A shot putt (6.02m); Bethany Roberts, third in the B 800m (2mins 49.4secs); Elizabeth Lowe, first in a non scoring 800m (3mins 07.9secs) and Lois Johnson Starrs, fourth in the A 1200m (4mins 36.5secs).
Sophie Sharples, Lois Johnson Starrs, Nora Szekely and Leah Poole combined in the 4x100m relay to finish fourth in 62.4secs.
In the under 13s boys, Louis Green won the A high Jump (1.25m), was fifth in the A 75m (11.5secs) and second in the B jong Jump (3.77m).
Harry Millar won the A long jump (4.47m personal best) and placed third in the A 150m (21.3secs) and third in the A 1200m (4mins 08.5secs.
Eddie Walker was third in the A 800m in 2mins 51.9secs.
In the under 15s girls, Hattie Cheung was fifth in the A 100m (14.3secs) with Isla Sweet - making her club debut - fourth in the B (14.2secs) and Laila Betteley fourth in a non-scoring race in a personal best 15.5secs.
Isla Jones and Laila Betteley finished fifth in the A and B 200m races with personal best times of 31.7secs and 32.1secs respectively.
Tallie Sze set a new PB of 43.5secs finishing third in the A 300m, while Eva Hayes was second in the B in 45.3secs.
In the 800m, Eva Hayes was second in the A in a personal best 2mins 30.7secs, while Ellie-Grace Stuart won the B in 2mins 34.1secs and Jaycee Morrison was a non-scorer in 2mins 52.4secs.
Evie-May Williams, after her run on Saturday in the Weaver Hills Fell race, was second in the 1500m A race smashing her personal best time by over 17 seconds with 5mins 02.3secs.
Tallie Sze was third in the A long jump (4.76m) with Isla Sweet fourth in the B (3.53m).
Sweet was also third in the A high jump with 1.25m.
Sze and Olivia Crawford were third in the A and fourth in the B shot putt events with throws of 8.12m (ersonal pest) and 5.53m respectively and Crawford was fifth in the A discus with 10.34m.
Cheung, Sze, Betteley and Crawford combined to finish third in the 4x100m relay in 55.2secs.
In the under 15s boys, Thomas Darbyshire had a double win with a personal best in the A high jump (1.53m) and A javelin (26.59m) and was second in the A 200m in 25.5secs.
Euan Lawton also had a double win in the A 1500m (4mins 47.6) and the B long jump (3.70m).
Joshua Pryor was fifth in the A 300m in 46.3secs and was second in the A 800m in a PB 2mins 25.0secs.
Jack Layfield made his club debut in the A 100m finishing fifth (13.4secs), while in the B 200m he was second (27.9secs) and A long jump fifth (3.98m).
