MORE than 1,000 Warrington Wolves fans were in Perpignan on Saturday to see their side pull off an epic victory over Catalans Dragons.

For many of them, it was be their second trip of the year having already been to the Stade Gilbert Brutus in Round One but the prospect of a Bank Holiday weekend in the sun has enticed plenty to the surrounding area.

Hundreds headed to Perpignan from Lloret De Mar and other coastal resorts to join others who spent the weekend in the locality before watching The Wire win 16-8.
