Having broken through as a raw back-rower, it was a move to the middle that proved pivotal for the 29-year-old as he closes in on 200 appearances for his hometown club.
On Saturday, his decade of service to The Wire will be celebrated in his Testimonial match against Leigh Leopards at The Halliwell Jones Stadium as Sam Burgess' side round off their preparations for the 2024 campaign.
