WARRINGTON Wolves have had a largely successful time of things at Magic Weekend over the years.

And they head to Elland Road to take on Leeds Rhinos on Saturday looking to make it 10 Magic wins, although they are also aiming to avoid back-to-back losses having been beaten by Hull FC in Newcastle last year.

Overall, they have won nine and lost six of their 16 Magic Weekend matches with one draw – the dramatic 24-24 stalemate in 2017 in which Wire were denied victory by Joe Burgess’ last-gasp try.

On Saturday, Leeds will become their 10th different Magic Weekend opponent – Wigan (four) have been the most common opposition followed by St Helens (three) while they have faced both Salford and Huddersfield twice.

Hull became Magic opponent number nine last year while they have also faced Hull KR, Widnes, Castleford and Catalans.
