CROSFIELDS can put a bigger gap between themselves and the bottom two when they host Featherstone Lions in National Conference League Division One on Saturday.
Soap, who hammered bottom side Thornhill Trojans 48-18 at Hood Lane at the weekend, entertain the winless side immediately below them, kick-off 2.30pm.
Matty Wilson's men remain 10th with three wins from six games, but have played one game less than most of their rivals and are only two points off third place in a tightly packed division.
Thornhill were actually the better team in the first quarter at the weekend as they played far better than their league position suggests.
Soap eventually gathered their composure and wreaked havoc in the centres, going in at half-time comfortably leading 24-2.
The game was over as a contest midway through the second half but remained competitive, with Jamie Abram standing out as the man of the match.
He was one of seven try scorers, with Mitchell McJay bagging a double and Jordan Williams, Aaron Holliday, Luke Walker, Ben Steele and Jamie Howard also getting over the line.
Daniel Cassidy kicked eight conversions.
Earlier in the day, Crosfields Masters secured a thrilling draw.
The Crosfields Alliance team beat Langworthy Reds 58-6, with debutant and man-of-the- match Kevin McCrombie crossing for four tries.
