JORDAN Buckley’s second-half double saw Warrington Town emerge victorious in their derby against neighbours Warrington Rylands.

The striker scored twice either side of the hour mark to turn the game on its head, first finishing off a counter attack before heading home the winner from a corner in front of more than 1,800 fans at Gorsey Lane.

It marked an impressive turnaround for Town, who were outplayed in the first half by their hosts who deservedly lead at the break.

Rylands had taken an early lead through Ajay Leitch-Smith’s crisp finish, but it is now back-to-back home losses for Jody Banim’s side.

By contrast, Town have stretched their unbeaten run to seven matches to consolidate their play-off spot.
