MATT King has been ruled out of Wolves' home match against Catalans Dragons on Sunday.
Wolves had hoped that King would be ready to return from a calf injury after missing last week's win against Hull KR but he has not been named in the 18-man squad to face the French side.
Either Paul Johnson or Vinnie Anderson is expected to play at left centre in King's absence.
Chris Riley is the other Wolves player to drop out of the original 20-man squad.
Wolves' 18-man squad: Stuart Reardon, Chris Hicks, Martin Gleeson, Kevin Penny, Lee Briers, Michael Monaghan, Adrian Morley, Jon Clarke, Paul Rauhihi, Louis Anderson, Ben Westwood, Vinnie Anderson, Mark Gleeson, Rob Parker, Paul Wood, Paul Johnson, Steve Pickersgill, Andy Bracek.
