ALEX Murphy will help to send out Lee Briers' Testimonial year in style.
Murphy was the football director at Wilderspool when Wolves signed Briers from St Helens in 1997 and he will be the guest speaker at the stand off's final dinner on April 12.
The event's MC will be former Super League referee Karl Kirkpatrick, while Billy Bean will be the comedian.
There will be several special items for auction at the dinner, including the Testimonial shirts worn by Matt King, Michael Monaghan and Louis Anderson in their first games for Warrington.
The event will take place in the Prime Time Lounge at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, with tickets priced £35 each.
Individual bookings are welcome, as are tables of 10 or 12 available. Each table booked will receive a signed Lee Briers Testimonial ball.
The Wolves star's last event will be a golf day on April 30.
This will take place at Mersey Valley Golf Club in Bold Heath priced £160 for a team of four, including brunch, a round of golf, three-course dinner and comedy entertainment.
Roy Chicken is taking reservations for both events and he can be contacted on 818064 or at roy.chicken@ntlworld.com.
