WOLVES estimate that Chris Bridge will be out for around six months after an operation on a ruptured Achilles tendon.
Bridge had his final operation on Monday after sustaining the injury in the opening stages of Wolves' defeat at St Helens 10 days earlier.
But Wolves boss Paul Cullen has warned: "There's one golden rule with an Achilles injury, don't rush it.
"You won't be having a second Achilles reconstruction."
