WARRINGTON suffered their heaviest defeat of the season as they were hammered 12-2 by Sefton in North West Hockey League Division Seven North.
Warrington, who travel to Lytham St Annes on Saturday, had to start the match with 10 men and Sefton took early control before Vickers scored two consolation goals in the second half.
Debbie Kinsey scored a hat-trick as Warrington's women's team won 4-1 at home to Macclesfield.
Vicky Maclean completed the scoring for Warrington, who travel to Brooklands on Saturday.
