THE 2007 Warrington Rugby League Service Area squads have been announced today.
Coordinator Will Cowell revealed that the selection process was difficult for every age group as there were some great players on show in the trials.
The selections were made by a panel of at least four selectors at each age group.
Any players who missed the trials due to injury or holiday were put forward to the selection panel by the service area co-ordinator.
He gathered information on the players from the Warrington Wolves PPM, Warrington Wolves scouts, other coaches and the RFL player analysts.
The second trial was also filmed to ensure that nothing was missed on the day and if the selection panel were unsure then they could review the video evidence.
A train-on squad has also been announced for each age group.
This group of players will train and attend matches with the main squad.
If one of the main squad players gets injured and can not carry on for the rest of the series, then a player from the train-on squad will be drafted in to fill that place.
The coach will decide which player is to come into the squad, depending on which position they feel needs filling.
The squads will start training in April and games will start on May 10 with the first fixture being against Wigan and Leigh.
