THREE Warrington amateur rugby league players helped the BARLA under 18s team to a 30-6 success against Great Britain Police at Stanningley.
The young BARLA side, playing their first competitive game together, included Latchford Albion's Mark Smith and Liam Kennedy as well as Rylands Sharks' Steve Fisher, who all made a valuable contribution to a fine success.
Centre Fisher was one of three BARLA try scorers in the opening period and he put substitute Patrick Vaughan over in the second half, while Smith provided the final pass for his second row partner Tom Dawson to score after a charge down.
