Moore 12 Douglas 3.
MOORE kept the pressure on the leaders with a victory over rugby union's South Lancashire and Cheshire Three leaders on Saturday.
A superb try from prop Dixon converted by Hollington put Moore into a fifth-minute lead that they never lost.
Moore knew that the threat from Douglas was always going to come from their back line and hard work from the Moore back row and the centre pairing of Adam Lester and Max Ferguson ensured that Douglas rarely got the ball past the stand off.
Douglas started the second half brightly and were rewarded when Moore conceded a penalty on their own 22 and Douglas took the three points.
Moore, although not performing well in the lineout, were dominating the scrums and from one good scrum Hollington fed blind-side winger Flemming for a try in the corner.
