THE Warrington Wolves Foundation and Rugby League Service Area are holding a boxing dinner on March 14 at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.

The event will start at 7pm with the meal being served at 7.30pm.

The evening will consist of amateur boxing provided by the Pheonix Boxing Club and will raise funds for the town's representative rugby league sides aged 11 to 15.

These sides provide pathways for players and coaches, and also provides the Wolves with homegrown talent.

The likes of Steve Pickersgill, Kevin Penny, Chris Riley, Lee Mitchell and Mike Cooper have come through these teams.

There are many more youngsters with great potential which the evening will help to support.

All monies raised will contribute to the purchasing of tracksuits and shirts for the players and coaches for the 2008 series.

Service Area fixtures kick off in May and all home games will be played at Wilderspool on Saturday mornings.

On the evening there will be a raffle and auction which will include prizes like an Adrian Morley signed shirt, signed Evander Holyfield picture, signed GB ball and many more.

If you or your company is interested in sponsoring a bout then ask when booking your tickets.
