WARRIORS of Warrington swimmers set six more records at the second weekend of the Liverpool and District Age Group Championships.
Hannah Wallis and Ewan Miller, who both won their categories during the championships, broke records during the first weekend and this time set records in the respective 11-year-old girls' 200m freestyle and 11-year-old boys' 400m freestyle events.
Aisha Thornton swam a national qualifying time to break the 16-year-old girls' 400m individual medley championship record, which had been set in 1993 by former Warriors swimmer Nicola Crosby. Aisha was the overall winner of the 400m individual medley event and also took bronze in the 200m breaststoke.
Nine-year-old boys' champion Oliver Houghton set a record in the 200m butterfly with 12-year-old champion Brendan Spencer achieving the same feat in the 200m butterfly.
Hannah Murphy, who finished third overall in the nine-year-old girls' section, set a new mark in the 200m breaststroke.
Jordan Barlow, who was third in the 13-year-old boys' category, registered a national qualifying time in the 400m freestyle, while Sophie Long was the silver medallist in the overall 200m breaststroke competition.
Mike Tujeshyn took bronze in the 400m freestyle with Rachel Callaghan and Edward Shattock also third in the respective 400m individual medley and 200m butterfly events.
Warriors collected a total of 25 golds, 23 silvers and 12 bronzes during the weekend.
