SAINTS' lengthening forward casualty list will add extra responsibility to the broad shoulders of experienced prop Nick Fozzard.
And it is not as if the ex-Wolves man needed any extra incentive to play well against his former club particularly now he lives in Warrington.
Fozzard said: "You always want to play well against your ex-clubs and especially for me because I now live in Warrington. I will be getting some stick off my neighbours so we will have to win."
Yorkshireman Fozzard, who joined Saints in 2004, will come up against Great Britain powerhouse Adrian Morley, who he had some good tussles with last year.
He expects Morley to be as formidable an opponent as ever, particularly since he has been handed the skipper's armband.
"Adrian Morley is a great player and only knows one way to play the game and that is tough.
"He is a born leader and he leads by example, who knows how to play the game," said the Saints prop.
Saints are hoping to get their Super League XIII campaign up and running after a faltering start on Humberside on Sunday.
Despite defeat to Hull Kingston Rovers Fozzard was pleased with the resilience the side showed in rallying from a 22-6 deficit.
He added: "We were heavily penalised in that first half hour, they made it difficult for us but after that we were great and really went for the kill.
"We nearly nicked it, and afterwards we were proud of the way we came back and it has done us a lot of good.
"Sometimes it is nice to chase a game, tough it out and have to show a bit of character. We showed a lot of desire and hunger on Sunday."
