SLOWLY but surely, the futures of Warrington Wolves’ out-of-contract players are being confirmed.
Earlier today, Stefan Ratchford’s new two-year deal with the club was announced and he is indeed the first of 15 first-team players who entered the final year of their deals to have put pen-to-paper.

Some of those players have already left – Josh Charnley, Billy Magoulias, Rob Butler and Ellis Robson were all given early releases and have since joined new clubs, or returned to Australia in the case of Magoulias.
The club have also confirmed the futures of a couple more, with Mike Cooper and Jason Clark known to be leaving to join Wigan Warriors and Limoux Grizzlies respectively for next year.
Loanees Jake Wardle and Kyle Amor are also due to leave the club at the end of the season upon the expiry of their temporary deals.
However, it still leaves nine players whose futures are still in theoretical limbo, with club captain Jack Hughes, England international Gareth Widdop and academy graduate half-back Riley Dean among them.
