STEVE Price has praised the form of Robbie Mulhern as he deliberates who will take Mike Cooper's place in the front row against Hull KR.
Having missed games in the middle part of the season due to injury and contracting Covid-19, the England Knights international has played himself into some good form of late.
With Cooper sitting the game out through suspension, Mulhern is a strong candidate to step up from the bench to start in the front row against his former club on Friday.
Another option would be to move Joe Philbin from loose forward to prop, with Jason Clark coming in at number 13.
While Price kept his cards close to his chest in regards to his plans, he did hail the way Mulhern has built into his first season in a Warrington shirt having been badly affected by Covid earlier this year.
"I feel Rob’s got better towards the back end of the season," he said.
"He had a bit of a rough time with Covid and got quite ill, but now he’s back to full fitness and is loving his rugby.
"He’s happy and the boys love playing with him, too.
"He’s in a good place and he’s enjoying himself at the Wolves."
