STEVE Price says he will be naming a strong Warrington Wolves side to face Swinton Lions in the Challenge Cup - but it will not include Greg Inglis.

The legendary centre is still not ready to make his Warrington Wolves debut, with the trip to Heywood Road coming too soon for him.

Price said he would finalise his team after their captain's run on Saturday but that there were no fresh injury concerns in his squad.

"We've got a team in mind but there's still a few days to go until Sunday," he said.

"We'll be picking a strong squad - they are a very competitive team in the Championship and we're expecting a really tough game.

"We'll make a decision later in the week on what way we go but there's a number of players outside our 17 fighting to get that jersey.

"At present, all the guys have pulled up really well after the Leigh game.

"We've had a good week at training and we're looking forward to Sunday now.

"Greg won't be taking part this week. He's doing a fair amount at training and it's actually exciting what he's been doing.

"I can't give you an answer on when he'll be in but he's getting close."

He did confirm, however, that prop Sitaleki Akauola is in contention to make his first appearance of 2021.

"Big Sits is doing really well," he said.

"He was really solid today at training who is another who will come into consideration for our team at the weekend.

"He's trucking along nicely."
