WARRINGTON Wolves will start pre-season training for the 2021 campaign in the coming days.
The full squad is expected to gather for Covid-19 testing on Friday before beginning their pre-season programme on Monday, January 11.
The Wire players have been off since mid-November having seen their 2020 campaign end at the first play-off hurdle at the hands of Hull FC.
Steve Price and his coaching staff will have two months to prepare the squad ahead of the opening round of Super League fixtures, currently scheduled to begin on March 11.
Star signing for 2021 Greg Inglis looks set to be among those reporting to training on Monday, with the club expecting him to arrive in England in time to link up with his new teammates on day one.
Another player expected to be reporting back to the club on Friday is half-back Gareth Widdop, who has been the subject of reports linking him with a move back to the NRL 12 months into his three-year marquee deal with The Wire.
The England international did return to Australia during the off-season to spend time with his family, but it is believed he is now back in the UK.
