STEVE Price insists Greg Inglis remains committed to joining Warrington Wolves next year.
Reports surfaced in Australia earlier in the week claiming teams in the NRL were trying to tempt the iconic back to renege on his one-year deal with The Wire that will see him come out of retirement.
Inglis himself poured cold water on talk of him remaining Down Under next year and Price echoed those sentiments when asked.
“I can’t really speculate on the interest that’s happening in the NRL. I’m not privy to that,” he said.
“Based on the number of conversations I’ve had with Greg over the past couple of months, he’s super excited to get over to Warrington in the new year and show the English Super League what he can display.
“I’m not sure whether he’s had interest from over there but he’s a man of honour and a man of his word.”
Inglis is currently due to arrive in England in the first week of January and is likely to have to quarantine for a period before joining up with his new teammates.
