Results from this week’s testing for Covid-19 have been received from 10 of the 11 Betfred Super League clubs, plus match officials and other relevant staff.
Changes to testing cycles mean that Warrington Wolves’ results are not yet available.
Of the 517 tests taken so far during week commencing 26 October, there have been 502 negative results and 15 positives – all of them players – spread across three clubs.
13 of the positives were from Castleford Tigers, leading to the cancellation of their scheduled fixture against Huddersfield tomorrow night.
Castleford have been placed into Stage 2 of the three-stage multiple cases framework, which sets out the basis on which the RFL manages repeated positive cases within clubs.
The information above will be updated once the test results from Warrington Wolves are known.
