RESUKTS from this week’s testing for Covid-19 across the 11 Betfred Super League clubs, match officials and other relevant staff have been received.
Of the 560 tests taken, there have been 548 negative results, and 12 positives, spread across three clubs – nine players, and three other members of staff.
As previously confirmed, seven of the positives – five players, and two members of backroom staff – were from the Catalans Dragons, leading to the cancellation of their scheduled fixture against Hull FC.
Confirmation is awaited on how this may impact Warrington Wolves' clash with Catalans in Perpignan on Monday.
Changes to the testing cycle at some clubs as a result of additional fixtures, plus the additional round of testing at Wigan Warriors following the postponement of their fixture against Catalans scheduled for October 15, mean that the final figures for the week starting October 11 were: 652 tests, 642 negative, 10 positives spread across seven clubs.
