IT looks as though Leilani Latu may not make his Warrington Wolves debut for some time.
The prop forward signed from NRL side Gold Coast Titans just before the start of the season but is yet to play a first-team game for The Wire.
Not only that, but the 27-year-old has not even been named in one of Wolves’ 21-man squads thus far.
When asked whether or not Latu was in contention to play any time soon, head coach Steve Price had a short and clear response.
He said: “Until he can show me that his fitness levels have improved, he won’t be involved.”
Latu played in the reserves’ win over Newcastle Thunder last month and has appeared on dual registration for Widnes Vikings in the Championship since arriving in England.
