WARRINGTON Wolves and St Helens will contest a Challenge Cup Final for the first time after both sides won semi-finals today.
Runaway Super League leaders Saints defeated Championship side Halifax 26-2 to reach Wembley for the first time since 2008.
And in the first of the two contests at the University of Bolton Stadium The Wire overhauled Hull FC 22-14.
The showdown between the leading two teams in Super League will take place on Saturday, August 24.
The last time Wolves met their firece rivals in a decider was in the Lancashire Cup in the 1982/83 campaign.
Wire won on that occasion 16-0 at Central Park, the former home of Wigan Warriors.
